Greetings!

I am a faculty member of the Math Department of UFPR since March'08. The campus is located in Curitiba, the largest city of Southern Brazil, about 400 Km southeast of São Paulo and about 600 Km east of the Iguaçu waterfalls.

Before joining UFPR, I was a post-doc fellow at INOGS, Trieste (Italy), and a visiting researcher at CPGG, Salvador (Brazil).

My major field of research is numerical methods for wave propagation.
